My Journey into Design…
I’ve enjoyed creating things for as long as I can remember - spending a Sunday afternoon painting, loosing track of time making posters for school projects, or finding a new DIY side project to do. I’ve also enjoyed math and science and still find myself being fascinated when anything related to calculus, chemistry or biology comes up in a conversation. Growing up amidst the rapid evolution of technology, from landlines to iPhones and everything in between, the power of well-crafted interfaces and seamless user experiences stood out to me. This confluence of passions led me to pursue a career at the intersection of Science, Art, and Technology, ultimately shaping my journey as a Product Designer.
Now, I apply my analytical side to dig deep into the “why” of problems, conduct and synthesize user research, and make sense of numbers as applicable to user data. I apply my creative side to brainstorm possibilities, craft seamless designs, and share stories with stakeholders. I enjoy collaborating with diverse teams to discover and implement meaningful solutions.
I believe that the Design Thinking approach holds tremendous potential to drive impactful changes across various industries, domains, and services. What's most fulfilling for me is how this approach has transcended being just a professional skill—it has evolved into a mindset and a guiding principle in both my professional and personal life.
